Pottery for Beginners

This course is strictly for students with no previous pottery experience. This is a 10-week course in which students will learn clay preparation, pinch pots, coil pots and slab pots to get them comfortable with the medium. They will learn to glaze and decorate their own pots. All pots will be fired in the kiln with a two-fire method (biscuit and glaze). At the end of this course, students will be able to display confidence in basic hand-built pottery. Students will take home their creations at the end of the course. Cost of materials is included in the fee.
