About the Course
This course is for students who have completed Pottery for Beginners. In this 10-week course, students will build on previous knowledge of slab pots and will be using shapes and moulds to create vases and houses etc. They will learn wheel throwing and begin working on the pottery wheel. They will continue to glaze and decorate their own pots. All pots will be fired in the kiln with a two-fire method (biscuit and glaze). At the end of this course, students will be able to display confidence in the use of the pottery wheel as well as hand-built pottery. Students will take home their creations at the end of the course. Cost of materials is included in the fee.
