About the Course
Students will learn to decorate cakes for Christmas under the guidance of two tutors Clair Porter and Sally Camara. Students will be provided with a vanilla sponge and cake board and will have the use of tools needed to ice and decorate their cakes. Techniques demonstrated will include evenly slicing a sponge, fillings, straight edges, crumb coating, flat icing and other decorating techniques. These techniques are transferable to decorating a traditional Christmas cake at home. Please note this course is not eligible for any concessionary rates. Students will take home their creations at the end of the course.
