About the Course

Students will learn to decorate cakes under the guidance of two tutors Clair Porter and Sally Camara. Students will be provided with a vanilla sponge and cake board and will have the use of tools needed to ice and decorate their cakes. Techniques demonstrated will include evenly slicing a sponge, fillings, straight edges, crumb coating, flat icing and other decorating techniques. These techniques are transferable to decorating traditional cakes at home. Please note this course is not eligible for any concessionary rates. Students will take home their creations at the end of the course.
