Introduction to Basic Sewing Techniques

At the end of this course, students will have gained confidence in the use of a standard sewing machine, common sewing tools and sewing techniques (including a small amount of hand sewing). Students will make a selection of sewn projects and examples to take home. Garment construction is not included in this course; however, many of the techniques will be directly transferable. Sewing machines will be provided, but students are welcome to bring their own. Please note this course is not eligible for any concessionary rates.
