Upcycling Furniture

This is for students with no previous furniture painting experience. By the end of this course, students will be able to demonstrate basic confidence in planning, preparing and painting wooden furniture, and they will upcycle at least three pieces of furniture. Students will sand, primer, fill and clean the furniture to prep it then they will paint the furniture using Frenchic paint. Students should bring a wooden dining chair to the first class. In addition to the chair, students will also upcycle a pair of bedside cabinets and a chest of drawers by the end of the six-week course. Cost of painting materials, aprons, brushes, etc is included in the course, but students may choose to purchase extra accessories or fabric.
