Upcycling Fashion

For students with no sewing experience. In this 10-week course, students will learn basic sewing machine skills and complete a few refashioning projects. Students will be encouraged to use their creativity to refashion old garments into something they will be excited to wear and that expresses their personality. By the end of the course, students will have a good time understanding of basic sewing skills and simple up cycling existing garments. Some materials will be provided but students will bring in clothes to be up cycled. Please bring in a piece of 100% cotton fabric to the first session.
