Dante Book Club: Intermediate

For students who have previously attended Dante Book Club Beginners. By the end of this course, students will have a deeper knowledge of Dante and his works. Students will revisit Dante's texts, focusing on The Divine Comedy, reading additional cantos and examining the wider themes including friendship, politics, philosophy, and music. This course will also incorporate a short introduction to Dante's other works, including the Vita Nuova and Dante's lyric poetry.
