Introduction to Gardening 2

For students who have taken Introduction to Gardening or another gardening course. In this course, students will continue to look at some of the core elements of gardening. Students will learn in classroom lectures as well as practical lessons, using some of the grounds at Philip Mourant Centre. Running throughout the course are the central themes of how working with plants is really beneficial for our health, wellbeing and environment. We will revisit some areas in a little more depth including planting, maintenance, plant identification, as well as looking at some organic principles in problem solving and design. Cost of materials is included in the course.
