How to Publish a Novel

At the end of the workshop, taught by internationally best-selling author Laura Carter, students will have an understanding of the main routes to publishing a novel, focusing primarily on traditional publishing. Students will understand the pros and cons of obtaining an agent and will understand how to query an agent. Students will gain insight into the world of traditional publishing from submission, through the editing process, and ultimately releasing and marketing a novel. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions of the author about her books and path through traditional publishing. Please note this course is not eligible for any concessionary rates.
