How to Publish: Pitching Your Book

At the end of the course, students will have learned how to submit fictional works to agents and publishers and will have an in-depth understanding of how to draft cover letters (including an elevator pitch) and synopses with a view to becoming traditionally published. Students do not need to have a completed a work of fiction but should have a brief idea for a story and an interest in ultimately having their work published. An understanding of the publishing industry is not a pre-requisite. Please note this course is not eligible for any concessionary rates.
