About the Course
At the end of this workshop, students will be able to display a basic understanding of Tai Chi and Qigong. Tai Chi was originally developed as a martial art with an overarching emphasis on health and wellbeing. Qigong is an ancient Chinese holistic self-care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused thought. This session will cover an introduction to Qigong, Four Strengths and 8-Step Tai Chi Form. Through regular practice, Tai Chi and Qigong promote relaxation, flexibility, coordination, strength and dynamic balance, allowing practitioners to remain fit and energised throughout their lives.
