CAD & Manual Technical Drawing

By the end of this 20-week course, students will be able to produce technical drawings using manual drawing methods and computer aided design (CAD) software. For the manual drawings, students will use appropriate drawing equipment to produce orthographic drawings (drawings in which a three-dimensional object is represented in two dimensions). This course is for any adult wishing to learn technical drawing skills and CAD software. Basic computer literacy is required. At the end of this course, students may choose to complete the assessment pack and receive a certificate from Skills & Education Group Awards.
