About the Course
This course is for students who have completed Introduction to Basic Sewing Techniques or have equivalent knowledge using a sewing machine. At the end of this workshop, students will develop increased confidence in the use of a sewing machine to complete practical projects. Students will learn to sew napkins, napkin rings and a quilted bread basket. Techniques include quilting (not patchwork), mitred corners, and button holes. Use of Highlands’ sewing machines and basic equipment is included, but students may bring their own should they prefer. Students will be required to purchase materials in advance.
