IT Fundamentals

This course is for students who would like to determine if a career in IT might be right for them or for students who would like a deeper understanding of Information Technology. At the end of this course, students will be able to display a competency in Information Technology. The course covers features and functions of common operating systems, establishing network connectivity, identifying common software applications and their purpose, using security and web browsing best practices. Students may choose to take the professional certification exam for the CompTIA ITF+ certificate after taking this course. Please note this 11-week course will run during half term, but there will be a week off in May TBD.
